The second Nestene invasion of Earth was the second attempt by the Nestene Consciousness and its Autons to conquer Earth, with the aid of the Master.
Having stolen the only intact energy unit leftover from their first invasion in October, which was named "Black Thursday" afterwards, the Master made contact with the Nestenes in early Summer and began manufacturing Autons and auto-jets, his own contribution to the invasion, using the plastics factory of Rex Farrel. An Auton Leader spoke for the Nestene High Command, and warned the Master not to let his feud with the Third Doctor cause the invasion to fail.
