Shopping trolley

A shopping trolley was a large basket with wheels, often made of metal, (PROSE: Party Like it's 1979) used by customers to carry their shopping around a supermarket.

When the Tenth Doctor once filled a trolley with Brainy Crisps, supermarket worker Derek was ordered to go and get another one. (PROSE: Code of the Krillitanes)

Paul Magrs and his Mam retrieved a metal shopping trolley that a vandal had pushed down Burn Lane, until it landed in a stream. While the other kids Paul knew in Newton Aycliffe had conventional toys like skateboards and bikes, Paul was proud to be the only one with a shopping trolley. (PROSE: Party Like it's 1979)
