Church of England

The Church of England was a denomination of Christianity. Its leading prelate was the Archbishop of Canterbury. David Staines followed the groups' teaching. Xznaal ordered him to have the "teacher caste" teach Reformed Martian. However, Staines warned him this would be unpopular with the Archbishop, so Xznaal told him to behead and replace him. Ian Chesterton was raised as a member of the Church of England, but before he became a companion of the First Doctor, he only visited church at weddings, christenings, funerals and at Christmas.
