Tolstoy was an animate bat puppet who worked for George Mistrise. He met Iris Wildthyme, Panda, and the Manleigh Halt Irregulars when Mumu Manchu came to Manleigh Halt. (PROSE: The Delightful Bag)

Behind the scenes
- Tolstoy originates from Paul Magrs' children's novel Hands Up! and also appeared in The Good, the Bat and the Ugly, and The Brenda and Effie Mysteries' Bat Out of Hull.
