Phillipp Brammer (26 August 1969 - 28 July 2014) voiced the Tenth Doctor for the German dub of Doctor Who.
He also voiced Strood, Remus Sylvest, Tandrell and Idris Hopper. He gave his voice for numerous David Tennant roles, most famous of which were Secret Smile and Fright Night.
To Germans, he was also well known for his character Jan Günzel in the long running German soap opera Lindenstraße. In 2014, Brammer accidentally fell to his death during a mountain climbing expedition in the Alps.[1]
When Big Finish Productions teamed up with Bastei Lübbe to dub their new Tenth Doctor range into German, as well as bringing back Kordula Leiße and Maren Rainer as Donna Noble and Rose Tyler respectively, they employed Axel Malzacher for the voice of the Tenth Doctor, who had been used in numerous projects, such as Broadchurch for the dubbing of David Tennant's characters.
