Dr Gemma Corwyn was the medical officer aboard the Wheel in 2079.

Dr Corwyn was born around 1965, (TV: The Mind Robber; AUDIO: Prison in Space; PROSE: The Wheel in Space) 2044 (AUDIO: The Dying Light; PROSE: The Wheel in Space) or later (PROSE: The Indestructible Man) and married a man who later died in the asteroid belt. She became the medical officer aboard the Wheel and second-in-command to Jarvis Bennett.

Legacy

Zoe mentioned Dr Corwyn's death at the hands of the Cybermen when attempting to persuade the Sixth Doctor to allow her to sacrifice her own life to stop them. (AUDIO: Last of the Cybermen)
