Summary
Long ago, a nameless world proved to be a haven for a stranded human pilot who crash-landed from space, but knew better than its primitive inhabitants not to incite the wrath of the vengeful Vethkin. Bernice Summerfield discovers the evidence of his exploits is contained within a manuscript that has passed down a line of disinterested historians. Desperate to track it down, she knows it may be the only clue she has to help find her lost father.
