Ashley Rowe, BSC began working on DWU projects as director of photography in series 9, and was the cinematographer for the majority of series 10. Due to Steven Moffat's preference for rotating directors of photography throughout his tenure, Rowe is therefore unusually definitional to the look of Doctor Who during the latter part of the Capaldi era.
Rowe's credits include:
- The Doctor Falls
- Extremis
- Kill the Moon
- Mummy on the Orient Express
- The Pilot
- The Pyramid at the End of the World
- The Return of Doctor Mysterio
- Smile
- World Enough and Time
