Harry (TV: Remembrance of the Daleks) Fowler (PROSE: The Shoreditch Incident) was the owner of a café, (TV: Remembrance of the Daleks) known as Harry's Café, (PROSE: The Shoreditch Incident) in Shoreditch.

He chatted with the Seventh Doctor when he arrived in the café in November 1963. When Ace came into the café, she didn't know how to get his attention, so Mike Smith helped her. Later, Harry left to go to the hospital where his wife was having twins as he had predicted, leaving the café in the care of John. (TV: Remembrance of the Daleks)

He was later interviewed by The Evening Star as part of their front-page article on the official story of the Shoreditch Incident, which attributed the six casualties to an unexploded bomb. Harry expressed relief at his incredible luck in having been away from his place of work at the time due to the twins' birth. (PROSE: The Shoreditch Incident)

Behind the scenes

Harry shares a first name, and, according to The Shoreditch Incident, a last name, with the actor who portrayed him.

According to production subtitles on the 2001 DVD release of Remembrance of the Daleks, Harry was originally planned to have been exterminated by the Daleks.

The Doctor's familiarity with Harry suggests that he befriended him as the First Doctor during his original visit to Shoreditch in the months leading up to An Unearthly Child.
