The pancake tortoise was a species of tortoise native to Earth.
Some pancake tortoises resided in Twycross Zoo. Rose Tyler laughed when she saw one, but Wanda pointed out that its natural habitat had been destroyed by humans in the name of "progress". (COMIC: Untitled)
