Grenoble was the owner of Grenoble's Toys.
Grenoble took Barry Lurcher in when he was abandoned by his mother, and over the years Barry became possessed by a stuffed bat called Tolstoy that resided in the shop. When Barry encountered Brenda he learned that she had no soul, as a result of this discovery he and Grenoble attempted to enlist her to spend eternity with them and other soulless puppets in hell.
