Then there is you lot saying so-and-so classic villain will return - every yearm without the slightest hint that they ever will come back. Just because the Master escaped the Time War, doesn't mean anyone else did. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there was a brief line in The End of Time that said they would be the only two to live beyond the war.But unlike you lot, I don't go around saying so-and-so character is actually a Time Lords, ect.. I, for one, myself know not to expect any classic villains in the finale. It is nice to theorise, but every year, the same theries come up. Yet again, the Rani is theroies to return, and I can tell you very well that she is not returning. The Master? Bloody hell, he only just left the show. Does anyone ever - I mean ever - consider that the silent menace is something new? This is Steven Moffat writing the finale. I for one have seen what may be a description of the silent menace - it's an 'it', it's nameless, it's evil, it's described as being a demon, possibly ancient, it's the most feared entity in the cosmos. T
The finale has something to do with an ancient cliff of sorts (presumably that very, very old cliff seen in the trailer with the broken statues scatteredand the huge doors that Amy, the Doctor, and River can be seen walking through - in their finale clothing), and a puzzle box, and silent menace. Oh, and recurring returnies such as Cybermen.
The Trickster is rumoured to return in two different stories - make your minds up. Amy's Choice concerns what may be called 'the dream lord' mentioned by Steven Moffat, and the silent menace is, if based upon description, something completely new- and deadly.
I wish people would stop lusting the return of classic villains because, from Moffat interviews, that ain't likely to ever happen, other than races. But the thing is, don't get your hopes up. It's "Donna is the Rani" all over all again. It's one of those things that just won't happen. Delton Menace 08:45, April 7, 2010 (UTC)

Hey, don't be a hypocrite. You had a huge period with the whole 666 thing, so don't act like you're not a part of this. the twelfth doctor 09:51, April 7, 2010 (UTC)
