Vengeance-Will-Be-Ours-When-The-Doctor-Dies-A-Thousand-Agonizing-Deaths, or Ven for short, was the son of the Justiciar on the Heligan Structure.

When he was 15 years old, he met the Fourth Doctor and Leela while foraging for food and checking the tree for damage. After he fell into one of the tree's digestive chambers, the Doctor rescued him with his scarf. Ven cited this as evidence for the Doctor's innocence when his mother, the Justiciar, tried the Doctor for his supposed crimes from a future incarnation. When the Heligan sent spores to kill the Doctor, Ven showed him the way to the Heartwood at the centre of the tree, where the Doctor reprogrammed the spores' DNA and defeated Director Sprawn.
