::: Yep, Nate is correct in that the ones here are only the ones which contain DWU elements. I'm certainly not opposed to listing them all, though perhaps they should be moved to a seperate article if we do this as the table is already quite big. A split would also allow for better coverage of certain aspects of these stories. Revision as of 20:49, 20 January 2022

Just a couple questions about the magazine to improve the Dalek Chronicles infoboxes.

  • ¿The actual publisher should be a) Century 21 Publishing, the publishing arm of the Century 21 empire, who it was published by or b) City Magazines, which it was published through?
Look here, Wikipedia was no help

Alan Fennell was the original editor of the magazine. In the Alan Woollcombe interview, Fennell states that he outlined the first two or three stories working closely with David Whitaker at Whitaker's mews flat after hours. After which he can't remember giving much input but the stories would have gone through him. In an Andrew Pixley article on the Chronicles, Pixley writes that Whitaker had some additional assistance from the story editor Angus P. Allen (sic).

  • Not knowing much about magazines, I have to ask ¿is there such a position as story editor, did Angus P. Allan ever act in that capacity for TV21, and finally, if he did, who should be listed: Fennell, Allan, or both?

Never mind. There is a little noticed City Magazines page and Fennell can't be disputed as an editor. --Nyktimos 20:29, September 19, 2009 (UTC)

Missing stories

I have seen that there are quite a few missing stories on the "cover stories" section, is this intentional due to them not containing DWU material or has information about them not been found? Even if the stories don't contain DWU material I think that they should be listed without links so as to not potentially mislead other users. RadMatter 17:35, 20 January 2022 (UTC)

Boris will be able to answer for certain, but my understanding is that the unmentioned cover stories don't contain DWU elements. All the cover story titles through TV21 154 are listed at User:NateBumber/Sandbox/4. – n8 () 20:22, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
Thank you.
I definitely think that all the stories should be listed, unlinked and perhaps with a hidden note advising other users not to link themselves, because at present readers may not be aware whether these stories simply haven't been added yet or never existed, etc. RadMatter 20:28, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
