Moleskin was a cotton fabric used to forge many clothes, called after the fur of a mole due to its softness.
The Eleventh Doctor wore double breasted overcoats of moleskin in olive green (TV: Let's Kill Hitler) or raven black. (TV: A Town Called Mercy)
