Her non-Who work included Red Dwarf: Back to Earth and Peep Show.

She is married to Lord Frederick Windsor, making her the only member of the extended Royal Family to appear in a Doctor Who production. Her daughters Maud and Isabella are currently 54th and 55th in the line of succession to the British throne.
She is the half-sister of comic actress Claudia Winkleman. Claudia played herself in The Doctor Appears, where she attempted to seduce the Eleventh Doctor.
