Ramsden was a doctor working at the Royal Leadworth Hospital in 2008, she was the Doctor in charge of the Coma Ward. One of the nurse's, Rory Williams told Ramsden that the coma patients were talking, Ramsden did not believe this since the patient's were in a coma. At that point, the coma patients started talking, repeating the word "Doctor". Afterwards, Ramsden said to Rory that Doctor Carver had told her that Rory had told him that Rory saw the coma patients walking in the village, but it was later found out that it was Prisoner Zero using their image.
Rory offered his phone to Ramsden with picture proof of the patients walking in the village, however Ramsden's bleeper went off and, late for her next appointment, Ramsden fired Rory. Later on during the evacuation of Leadworth Hospital, Ramsden was attending to Barry Collins. At that point, Prisoner Zero came through a vent and killed Ramsden along with all the nurses on that floor. (DW: The Eleventh Hour)
