An Alpha Dalek was a grey Dalek subordinate to the Supreme, following the Alpha leader who was destroyed during the Duplicate Incident. In the Necros Incident, Alpha, itself supported by a Beta Dalek, led the grey Dalek force on Necros to capture Davros. (PROSE: Revelation of the Daleks)
