Kromon was a planet in the Divergent Universe inhabited by the Kromon.
It was a world of water, with towering trees, humid air and rivers in "angry flood". A fleet of company ships prospected useful minerals, and was followed by a fleet. This company exploited Kromon for its minerals by tearing down trees, blasting mountains and diverting rivers. They built a new sun, causing the clouds to disperse and the rain to stop. A thousand years later, the Kromon were able to find a way of overcoming the company, stealing their machines and absorbing their philosophy of management.
