Velvet

Velvet was a soft fabric used to make clothes, curtains, and furniture.

The Doctor

The Eighth Doctor wore double-breasted frock coats of velvet done in forest green, (TV: Doctor Who) navy blue, (COMIC: Dreadnought) olive, green, (COMIC: Ophidius) or dark brown.
