Rocco Colasanto was an Italian newsagent in a parallel world.
Biography
Rocco owned a paper shop in Shepherd's Bush. When London was destroyed, Rocco, his wife, his sister and her husband, his children and his daughter's children were relocated to Leeds. They shared a house with the Noble family, and shared a happy time together before new laws made by the Emergency Government made all foreign nationals to go to "labour camps". Rocco and his family were relocated to one, after Rocco said a tearful goodbye to Donna and Wilf. (TV: Turn Left)
Behind the scenes
- Issues 72 and 74 of Doctor Who Adventures challenged the reader to find the image of "Jolly Mr Colasanto" announcing "Is good!", having "escaped the labour camp", for a chance to win a Doctor Who Uno set.
