Cathy Salt became pregnant around June 2006. She was engaged to be married on 19 October to her boyfriend, Jeffrey, ostensibly to stop her mother from nagging, but the baby that was due "sort of clinched it".
By September, Cathy had been pregnant for three months, the baby "not showing yet" at that point. Cathy admitted to "Margaret Blaine" that the baby was not planned, describing it as a "nice accident". "Margaret", who had secretly intended to kill the journalist, congratulated Cathy on the news, which moved her to spare her life. (TV: Boom Town)
