The Kraken was the King of Atlantis.

Biography

The King married the Queen and, to impress her, built her the Palace of Stone atop the Bronze Mountain. He eventually became restless and, despite his wife begging him to stay, he sailed out beyond the Pillars of Hercules and was transformed into a giant known as the Kraken.

The Kraken made repeated attempts to return to his wife in the Palace of Stone, but, knowing that she could never love him, she kept having her guards drive him back into the sea. In Year 57, he was able to climb the mountain thanks to Bernice Summerfield convincing the Queen to allow him to do so, but the Queen turned away from him and had her guards attack. He destroyed the palace and fell into the sea with her. (AUDIO: The Kraken's Lament)

Legacy

When Benny mentioned the Kraken to Leonidas, he had no memory of it. (AUDIO: The Temple of Questions) Craisus too was confused when Helena mentioned the Bronze Palace where the Queen wept for her beloved, saying that he had never heard of it. (AUDIO: Private Enemy No. 1)

Personality
