Flidor was one of Skaro's two naturally occurring Moons, (PROSE: The Astounding Untold History of the Greatest Enemies of the Universe) accessible to the early Daleks on Skaro; it was Flidor gold which was used to construct the casing of the Dalek Emperor. (COMIC: Genesis of Evil) Flidor was a dead world rich in "blue-veined gold". Yarvelling, (PROSE: The Dalek Dictionary) later the designer of the first mark of Dalek casing, (COMIC: Genesis of Evil) was the first of his people to travel beyond Skaro and bring back gold from Flidor.
