Michael Owen Morris directed the Doctor Who television story The Awakening. He had earlier been the production assistant for The Pirate Planet.

He shared his memories of The Awakening on the story's DVD commentary and the documentary Return to Little Hodcombe.

Career

He has also worked on several major dramas, such as Coronation Street, EastEnders, Casualty and The Bill.
