Ernie Clements, full name Ernest Clements, (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Pyramids of Mars) was a poacher who hunted on Marcus Scarman's land in 1911. (TV: Pyramids of Mars) He considered himself to be an unpaid gamekeeper and had once taught the young Marcus and Laurence Scarman how to poach. He considered Dr Warlock to be a friend, as he often bought Clements' wares with no questions asked. (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Pyramids of Mars)
When he found a mummy in one of his snares, he tried to flee but was prevented from escaping by the deflection barrier Sutekh had ordered to be generated. When he heard Dr Warlock's death screams, he found and shot Marcus Scarman, who instantly recovered from the injury. The mummies then pursued Clements, eventually catching and killing him. Following Sutekh's defeat, Clements was found dead on the grounds of the priory after it burned down. According to a newspaper report, he was believed to have died trying to escape the fire. (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Pyramids of Mars)
