Cold Blood[2] is the ninth episode of Series Five. It is the second part of a two-part story. It marks the re-appearance of the Silurians for the first time in 26 years.
Synopsis
It is the most important day in the history of Earth: the dawn of a new age of harmony or the start of its final war.
In the latest episode of the time-travelling drama, written by Chris Chibnall, The Doctor must face his most difficult challenge yet. It is a battle in which he cannot take sides and a day when nobody must die…[3]

Rumours
- It is rumoured that the Silurians are stealing bodies to splice with Silurian DNA to make half-human/half-Silurians. The could be compared with the Pig Slaves. The fact that some of the Silurian-like creatures in the trailers appear to be wearing regular human clothing may support this.

BBC Video - Doctor Who Series Five - Volume Three will most likey feature The Hungry Earth, Cold Blood and Vincent and the Doctor. It will most likely be released sometime in late summer 2010 (UK Only) on DVD and Blu-Ray.
