Uglosi was a prosecuting attorney. He came to visit Morella Wendigo. He had designed her prison. He thought that the Eighth Doctor and Tamsin Drew were killing the prisoners. He had a fear of cats. He was obsessed with the works of Edgar Allan Poe.
He revealed that the Monk had told him about the future that led to Morella Wendigo's original crimes. He assumed that the Doctor was responsible for the murders that he was investigating, but the Doctor soon confirmed that the true culprit was Berenice Ward, Uglosi's adopted daughter, whose mutated nature caused her to manifest a cat-like creature that attacked those who might expose the truth about what happened.
