The fifth issue of Death's Head (1988) was cover dated April 1989. The only thing contained within was the original comic story, Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling!.

It was one of five issues in the publication's run to be of interest to this wiki. Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling! depicted Death's Head meeting up with the titular character from Keepsake, a story from issue 140 of Doctor Who Magazine.

It was narratively significant in that it saw Keepsake's vulture join Death's Head on his adventures. Although a relatively minor character, the vulture appeared in three more stories in that original run of stories, namely Sudden Impact!, Clobberin' Time! and The Cast Iron Contract.

As with most magazines of the time, there was a cliffhanger, which introduced Mayhem and led into the next issue and Sudden Impact!.
