Summary
The Dalek Guide to Invading Earth: never invade Earth in January!
A Dalek flying saucer touches down on Earth in a snowy January. The Daleks leave the craft and are immediately forced to plow their way through thick, freezing snow. One Dalek's attempt to enforce obedience into the human populace fails when they're trampled by a stampede of people running to the January sales taking place at a nearby shop. The Daleks decide to give up and return again in the spring, only for them to find that the saucer won't start because the engines have frozen over. One Dalek asks a passing man walking his dog to give them a push.

References
- One of the Daleks plowing through the snow is wearing a wool hat.
- Two women in the January sales rush argue over a coat.
Notes
- Though played for humour here, the Daleks were indeed shown to have a vulnerability to extreme cold in Planet of the Daleks.
