The planet Necros was the location of Tranquil Repose, the finest funeral home in the galaxy. It was also the location of Kara's food processing factories which provided food for starving planets, the food being made from a strange substance provided for by Davros. The planet was cold, was home to dangerous creatures and the weed plant, which provided protien when refined. (DW: Revelation of the Daleks)
