EarPod was the fifth feature exclusively published on the Cybus website in May 2006 by the BBC to coincide with the broadcast of Rise of the Cybermen. EarPod, from an in-universe perspective, was an interactive menu for you to personalise your Cybus EarPod.

Summary

In an article on the Cybus Industries website, a menu is given for you to select what information you want to be downloaded into your brain.

Once the selection has been made, the information would be sent with your next daily download.
