There's just nothing in here aside from that. Yeah yeah, Scrooge already ruled on this. But even without R4bp this should be valid, there's just nothing here. Najawin ☎ 08:35, 27 November 2024 (UTC) |

Deletionedit source
This does deserve a page in my opinion, as the Minister of Chance originated in the DWU and was later adapted elsewhere. However, there was already a discussion about this and it is currently held as being in breach of copyright so another discussion would be needed to overrule this. - I do agree. It is unfortunate about the misconception that it is in breach of copyrights, but like you said, this page needs to go for now. 12:28, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Further, I'll note that User:NateBumber/Sandbox/The Minister of Chance (series) exists (and I welcome edits from any fellow Minister of Chance fans) for if and when that decision is reconsidered. – n8 (☎) 18:18, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
Do we cover this?edit source
There's information from this series on pages, and redlinks from the page, but I just wanted to be absolutely sure before I started wikifying. Aquanafrahudy 📢 20:37, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
- I believe it's an open question as to whether we "cover it as valid" or "cover it as invalid", but either way, we do cover it. – n8 (☎) 21:07, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
- The issue is entirely that a random podcast in 2012 allegedly had an interview with Dan Freedman wherein he said that it wasn't part of the DWU. But there doesn't seem to be an archive of this podcast anywhere and we just have Talk:Minister of Chance on this. (The podcast has since moved to yt but they don't have archives of their older stuff there.) Najawin ☎ 22:12, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, we do cover this, as per User:OncomingStorm12th's ruling at Talk:Minister of Chance#Clarification needed. At the time, this was done as invalid, but following the validation of Death Comes to Time on a Rule 4 By Proxy basis, it has been validated as an extension of that (there were authorial quotes stressing that this was the same Minister as in DCtT and a continuation of that story; the question was always on whether "the universe of DCtT" counted as the DWU). There's just nothing in here aside from that. Yeah yeah, Scrooge already ruled on this. But even without R4bp this should be valid, there's just nothing here. Najawin ☎ 08:35, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
