Alternate counterparts of the River Thames existed in other realities. These locations shared similarities with the River Thames from the Doctor's universe, despite existing in parallel universes or alternate timelines.

Aborted timelines

The Trickster's World

After a weak point in the web of time allowed the Trickster to manifest, he had sucked the life out of the Earth. In this reality, the River Thames had mostly dried up, while the banks had been blasted to gravel. Tower Bridge appeared to still be standing, albeit with it's stilted bases above the surface of the water. (TV: The Temptation of Sarah Jane Smith)

Parallel universes

Pete's World

A river which resembled the River Thames from N-Space existed in London of Pete's World. It was in a similar location to its N-Space counterpart. (TV: Rise of the Cybermen)

Donna's World

In Donna's World, the Tenth Doctor died under the Thames by drowning in the resulting flood which defeated the Racnoss. His body and the TARDIS was retrieved by UNIT soldiers. When Donna Noble was later fired from her job almost a year later, it was mentioned that the Thames was still closed, causing the business problems that precipitated her firing. Part of the river would have sat within the radius of the explosion, which occurred when the Titanic crashed into the London. (TV: Turn Left)
