Beetle Bailey is a comic series created by Mort Walker which began on 4 September 1950, and has continued to the present day. For a time, it was published in TV Comic.

The series stars the titular Beetle Bailey, a private operating in a fictional United States Army post.

The series shared some crossovers with the Doctor Who universe within the pages of TV Comic.

The game featured the character of Basil Brush (from Basil Brush) going around the board and collecting rent from various characters, including Beetle Bailey, who was placed early on the board, awarding Basil with £5.
