Karinhall

Karinhall was the country estate of Reichsmarshal Hermann Goering, head of the German Luftwaffe.

Much of Goering's looted art and treasures throughout Europe were stored at his country estate of Karinhall.

Goering had taken up hunting as a hobby, which he partook in at his country estate. In 1939, Goering encountered the Seventh Doctor at a party rally in Nuremberg, and offered to take him hunting at Karinhall. The Doctor declined Goering's offer. (PROSE: Timewyrm: Exodus)

Behind the scenes

In the real world, Goering's country estate was named Carinhall, after his first wife, Carin von Kantzow.
