Having been announced as Doctor Who's returning showrunner in September 2021,[1] and his first episode airing in November 2023, Russell T Davies will remain the showrunner for the rest of the three 2023 specials "and beyond", including Series 14[2][3] and Series 15.[4]
He also created the Doctor's companion Ruby Sunday.
