2D artists, or compositors, were not credited on Doctor Who prior to the advent of the BBC Wales version of the programme, and were not consistently credited during this era either.
In later years, when the show was co-produced by BBC Studios and Bad Wolf Productions, Untold Studios' effects artists usually were credited as the less specific role of VFX artist.
