Brigit Forsyth (28 July 1940[1]-1 December 2023[2]) played Ruth Maxtible in the Doctor Who television story The Evil of the Daleks.

She is probably best known for playing Thelma in Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads? opposite Rodney Bewes and James Bolam. She played spaceship Captain Ella Desmond in The Babylon Run, a serial for Manchester's Piccadilly Radio by Steve Gallagher.
