Coelophysis

Coelophysis was one of the earliest species of dinosaurs. Though comparatively small, being two and a half metres long and one metre high, it had the same body plan as later predators such as the Allosaurus. Like them, it was a carnivore. The Fourth Doctor was able to get close to one to show it to his companion, however, because it "thought [he was] a bit too odd-looking to be really tasty".
