Von Hindenburg (PROSE: Big Bang Generation [+]Loading...["Big Bang Generation (novel)"]) was a German general during World War I. He commanded the Germans at the battle of Tannenberg. (PROSE: Illegal Alien [+]Loading...["Illegal Alien (novel)"])
Later, he was president in 1934 alongside the Nazi Party. Some Germans suspected that he was near death, and that the Nazi Party were waiting for him to die. Behind the scenes
General Hindenberg is presumably intended to be a reference to the real life General Paul von Hindenburg. However, Illegal Alien spells his name wrong.
