Chigley was a village which contained a train station and a crane. It was part of Trumptonshire, and its residents included Lord Belborough, Mr Brackett, Mr Swallow, and S. Rumpling.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

After exiting Trumpton, a young boy arrived at the train station in Chigley, being helped aboard Bessie by Lord Belborough and Mr Brackett, with the boy and Belborough proceeding to ride the train. They rode past Mr Swallow and S. Rumpling, and finally into a tunnel as the boy screamed. On the other side of the tunnel, he came out alone in the Magic Garden on another train.
