"The character was called Michael Year"- when? By who? Where are you getting this information? This seems more like individual fanon than anything else.

- From my exploration and searching, it seems that the name comes from the UNIT audio dramas The Longest Night and Snake Head, but I don't have access to either, so cannot confirm. Apparently, he was a Conservative. :) -- sulfur 14:43, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
