Enid Meadows was one of the few residents of Glyngatwg drinking at 'y pren marw' (the dead wood) inn when Ruby Sunday arives, after losing the doctor. she agrees that the woman who is following her is strange and calls her 'semper distans', meaning 'always distant'. altogether, it turns out she's a MASSIVE prankster, by tricking ruby in to thinking that the woman following her is the spirit of a murderer called 'mad jack', who's soul she released by stepping on a fairy circle, but that was just a lie, in which everyone else in the pub played along with.
