Other realities
On the Inferno Earth Mosley was assassinated in 1936 by a government conspiracy, his successor rallied most of the British people to the Party's cause and successfully overthrew the government in a revolution in 1943. All other political parties were soon prohibited and in following decades it was only ever referred to it as "the Party", there being no others to confuse it with.
