The Owse were an aquatic jellyfish-like species native to the planet Kaesov. Due to the position of Kaesov, the Owse would react to any shifts in reality. The Doctor kept an Owse on board the TARDIS in order to pick up temporal distortions. (PDA: The Quantum Archangel)
