Biography

Lady Cranleigh loved her sons dearly and did not want bad publicity for her family. When George was brought back horribly scarred and insane from his last Amazon expedition by Latoni, she had him confined to the secret upper floors of Cranleigh Hall under Latoni's guardianship.

On 11 June 1925, she was willing to let the Fifth Doctor take the blame for George's murders, but George was found when he kidnapped Nyssa instead of his former fiancée Ann Talbot, who bore a striking resemblance to Nyssa.
