Circa 2011, Jack wrote to the Eleventh Doctor at Doctor Who Adventures. He asked if, when Time Lords were born, they were born as babies or grown adults, or if they were even born at all. The Doctor emphasised that Time Lords were indeed born, but went on a tangent about a supposed ancient Gallifreyan legend about Time Lords descending from knitwear instead of clarifying further.
