Spikers were one of the many dangerous plant species in Styrakos, one of the Dark Places.

Spikers appeared as tall, rigid, bluish or purple-greyish stalks, a few inches thick, covered in sharp thorns — hence their name. They grew in thick groves, forming walls which a humanoid could break through if they rammed into them, but only at the cost of many painful lacerations from the spikes. Towards the end of one of Ty Rejutka Lupex's "hunts", his latest victim jumped unprotected through a wall of spikers while trying to reach the City. Unfortunately for him, the wall had concealed the edge of a cliff. He fell off and into a swampy pond where he was easily picked off by Lupex.
