In Nazi Germany, the Nazi salute or Hitler salute was a salute performed by raising one's hand and exclaiming "Heil Hitler!", "Sieg Heil!", (PROSE: Timewyrm: Exodus ^[+]Loading...["Timewyrm: Exodus (novel)"]) or simply "Heil!". In 1938, Rory Williams performed the salute to distract a Nazi guard, who returned the salute before Rory punched him in the face, allowing himself and Amy Pond to flee. • In DWM 335, Martin Geraghty's preview of the Big Finish audio story Davros ^[+]Loading...["Davros (audio story)"] features Davros performing a similar salute to a flag reminiscent of the swastika, emphasising the influence of the Nazis on the Daleks.
